Special Mechanic Radiate

As an extra action when casting any of the following spells, you can spend an additional 2 resource points to make the spell damage become radiation. Refer to the radiation rules in Michael Cook’s Warhammer 40k Free Flow DLC Addon which can be found in DLC Addons on the home page. Each spell will specify what level of radiation intensity will be incurred through doing this.

Firefling

As an action, fling a small blotch of fire at an enemy within 30ft of you. Roll dexterity + your will bonus to hit, upon breaking armor class deal 1d4 + 3 fire damage.

Radiate Low Level

Burning Scales

As an action, create a fiery scale pattern across your skin and clothes, anyone that touches you will need to make a DC 14 fortitude saving throw or they’ll take 1d6 + 3 fire damage. However, you will take 1d4 fire damage yourself at the beginning of each of your turns with burning scales activated. Spend 3 resource points to do this as a reaction.

Radiate Low Level

Frost Touch

As an action, spend 3 resource points to make a melee spell attack against a creature. Roll strength + your will bonus to hit, upon breaking armor class they take 1d8 + 3 cold damage. They must also make a DC 14 fortitude saving throw or have their speed halved.

Radiate Low Level

Poison Essence

As an extra action, spend a resource point to add 1d4+1 poison damage to a spell damage roll.

Radiate Very low Level

Pyroelectric Wave

As an action spend 5 resource points to send out a 20ft long 5ft wide wave of fire and electricity bonded together. Anyone caught within the radius must make a DC 14 blocking or acrobatics saving throw. Upon a failure you take 1d6 fire and 1d6 lightning + 3 damage. On a success they take half.

Radiate Medium Level

Cryo Pyro Aura

As an action, spend 5 resource points to create a 10ft aura of clashing fire and ice magic around yourself. Creatures within the 10ft aura must make a DC 14 fortitude saving throw or take 1d6 fire and 1d6 ice damage. On a success they take half. Spend 10 resource points to do this as a reaction.
