
Heavy Armor gives a set amount of damage reduction to non-magical damage. The amount you can reduce resets at the beginning of your turn each round.
Shields do not effect damage reduction, they just add onto your normal AC.
To keep track of your damage reduction, it’s recommended that you write how much you can reduce each round somewhere on your sheet either in your notes, misc. powers, or elsewhere
Ring Mail - 30 Currency - Common
When equipped, your AC becomes 8 + CON and you can reduce 3 + CON damage per round. However, your walking speed also decreases by 5ft.
When you have this armor equipped, you cannot gain chest grievous wounds from non-magical means

Spike Mail - 75 Currency - Common
When equipped, your AC becomes 10 + CON and you can reduce 6 + CON damage per round. However, your walking speed also decreases by 5ft.
When you have this armor equipped and a character you don’t consider an ally touches you, they have to make a precision saving throw with a DC equal to your AC. Upon a failure, they take piercing damage equal to your CON

Chain Mail - 135 Currency - Common
When equipped, your AC becomes 10 and you can reduce 6 + CON damage per round. However, your walking speed also decreases by 5ft
When you have this armor equipped and someone has successfully hit you with a slashing or piercing melee weapon, the character that made the attack roll needs to make a precision saving throw with a DC equal to your AC. Upon a failure, their weapon is forcibly unequipped from them and stuck in your armor.

Scale Mail - 175 Currency - Common
When equipped, your AC becomes 10 and you can reduce 9 + CON damage per round. However, your walking speed also decreases by 5ft.
When you have this armor equipped and have to make a blocking or fortitude saving throw against an effect related to bludgeoning, explosive, or concussive damage you roll with advantage.

Full Splint - 320 Currency - Common
When equipped, your AC becomes 12 + CON and you can reduce 12 + CON damage per round. However, your walking speed also decreases by 10ft and you have disadvantage on all stealth rolls.
When you have this armor equipped, you cannot gain arm, chest, leg, or back grievous wounds from non-magical means

Full Plate - 500 Currency - Common
When equipped, your AC becomes 14 + CON and you can reduce 15 + CON damage per round. However, your walking speed also decreases by 10ft and you have disadvantage on all stealth rolls.
When you have this armor equipped, you cannot gain grievous wounds from non-magical means
