👾Mutant Abilities

Singularity Theory

Requires Great Power!

During a short rest, you can take two positive parts of your powers and combine them into a new power that has aspects of both of the former. The weaknesses of the former powers also combine, but their mixed result is overall less punishing then before.

Go Beyond!

Requires Great Power! Or Be Somewhat Magical

When your character is put into an intense situation or goes through a bout of extreme emotion, the DM can ask you to roll a will check (any type). Upon succeeding on a DC set by the DM, you gain a new factor to your Great Power alongside a equally powerful weakness.

(for paths other than mutants this could be gaining a new element on your technique/spellmakers, the application for outside of mutants is up to the DM)

Hero Too…

Requires Singularity Theory

At a long rest, choose both a creature you have a significant bond with and part of your power. Until your next long rest and as long as the creature is within at least 100ft of you, that creature gains that part of your power with a lesser version of it’s weakness.

Evolution

Requires Almighty Crusader!

When using your power, you can choose to slightly adjust how the power works to fit a situation better. However, using your power like this incurs a -5 bonus to whatever roll you make with them.

(EX: having a power that controls fire allowing you to control the temperature of particles in the air)

Great Responsibility

Requires Ultimate Force…and unfortunately someone close to you must pay the price for you to learn what comes with great power…

Something traumatic must happen for your character to fully understand the responsibility you have for the people around you, regardless of moral alignment. even bad guys have things that are sacred to them….

You no longer suffer any of the weaknesses of your Great power!.
